News.com: Winner mocks OS X hacking contest. Basically re-iterates what many (including me) have been saying for a while:
“Mac OS X is easy pickings for bug finders. That said, it doesn’t have the market share to really interest most serious bug finders,” Gwerdna [the successful hacker] added.
Speaking of Mac news – the hard drive of my (seemingly ill-fated) iMac packed it in on Friday. Lost some stuff, but I have to wait at least a week before any local service center can look at it (longer for repairs), unless I pay a rush fee ($160 at the service center I took it to). The earliest any other service center I called could look at the machine was two weeks. Pretty shocking really. My love affair with Macs is very strained at the moment…
