Bloggercorps: “Matching bloggers with activists and non-profit groups who want to blog and need help getting started.” [via Scott Rosenberg]

One of the things I have been thinking about in regards to the WWF-Australia website is how to make it more conversational in it’s approach. I also have been thinking about how to assist the development of academic and volunteer communities that have naturally evolved around certain work that WWF-Australia does, whilst providing a coherent way of integrating the detailed information that goes supports those communities (such as research findings and papers) into the main site without overwhelming our supporters and visitors seeking more general information.

In both senses I see weblogs as playing a part – I am a long way from a coherent strategy yet. It will be interesting to watch Bloggercorps to see how other organisations are looking to integrate bloggers into their communications strategies.
