Clueless

It never ceases to amaze me how broken the US Patent office is. A patent granted to Amazon for the use of cookies to store data. Am I still on earth, or did I fly off into a parallel universe? When will the madness end?

I know – lets patent a process for granting patents, and sue the f&$*ing patent office for infringement!

Yes Minister

Anita Roddick visits No. 10 Downing Street.

“We have seen investigations by parliamentary committees, by Lord Hutton and now by Lord Butler. These have not answered any of the key questions that the public are asking and have further undermined the public’s faith in getting real answers as to why we went to war.”

Australian News Feeds

Damian just pointed me to a stash of RSS feeds for a number of big Australian papers. The SMH feed is much better than the old one, although the AFR one still seems a little buggy.

Don’t ask how I found this. If you’re offended by strong language – don’t read it (the URL should give you a hint). LOL!

Billboard

For some reason the RSS feed for the Devoted Few weblog died, so I’ve been out of the loop. So I’m catching up today. Choice quote of the moment:

“The best way to do that is to drink three bottles of white wine and record it at 3am.”

LOL!

Gigs

I love weeks where I have a gig – but I’m spoilt this week. I’m playing two shows – Wednesday with Glance at the Cat & Fiddle Hotel, Balmain, and Friday doing a solo acoustic spot at Mars Hill Café on Church Street in Parramatta.

I also just found out that a good friend of mine from Brisbane is going to be in town to see our gig at the Annandale Hotel on April 13. Sweet as!
