An evening with Susan George

Got this via email today:

Another world is practical: pathways to a just future. At a time when we’re all in need of a little inspiration, renowned activist and author Susan George will share her unique insights on ‘what works’ in the campaign for global justice. Susan George has campaigned against the tyranny and inequity of the global system for 25 years. She is Associate Director of the Transnational Institute in Amsterdam and Vice President of ATTAC. From 1990 to 1995 she served on the Board of Greenpeace International. Her books include ‘A Fate Worse than Debt’ and the acclaimed satire on capitalism ‘The Lugano Report.’ Her latest book, ‘Another World is Possible if…’ explains how we can reach that Other World, through a hard-headed understanding of globalisation, knowledge of the adversaries who prevent change, intelligent organisation, and exciting yet practical proposals and strategic thinking.
