“Tony Blair has described the war in Iraq as a “test case” for the handling of countries which possess weapons of mass destruction (WMD). “
Nice line, Tony – just one question: where are the weopons? When will the US and UK government stop trying to feed us this drivel that Iraq was an “immanent threat” with a WMD program. Oh, hang on, no, it was liberating the Iraqi people. That’s right – bringing democracy. Um, no, what’s this, no, we’re back to the WMD line.
I think that the US/UK un-holy alliance is trying it’s damnedest to confuse us out of our minds until we all scream mercy and let them run the world the way the want. I, for one, am over it.
Oh, Chomsky talks about the “normalisation” process where things like the illegal coalition attacks on Iraq become an accepted norm. Is that what good ol’ Tony is referring to with his “test case”. I hope not…
